I am looking buying a new Viking but the broker had no knowledge of this new system of yours is it presently available at this time: No it is not presently available at this time but working on the design and will be sending out our proposals to OEM builders in the next few weeks a new installation method is being designed at this time for a one -off FRP vessel at this time. We feel very confident we will be getting much interest over the next few months we are always interes

Back to work
It seems I always have a few projects on the drawing board you might say my new painting of one of my Favorite boat builders it was the small details that was so noticeable about his boats. Everything in boat building comes down to the small details and challenges of building a boat. Much has changed over the years and boat builders have had to make changes to keep up with their clients requirements for power &'s other things. My first understanding of this was after a conver

Just back from the Bahamas
Had a great trip over to Hope Town , Abaco's with my son Alex and a few friends we had great weather did a little fishing and diving. It's been sometime since my last visit on my sail boat back in the late 70s . I once lived and worked in Marsh Harbor for Maritime oil company / Abaco Power & Light. At the time we had one air line Mackey Airlines flying 440 Convair's it was always an adventure fly happy to see they lengthened runway. Anyway we had a great time and Hope Town is

In Holding Pattern
Asking about our new modular exhaust design and the availability : Our company is in somewhat of a holding pattern right now awaiting OEM response that I am shore is forthcoming based on a number of recent sea trials and meeting and private conversations with boat builders on the future needs of boat building and owners requirements for power. The number one request was more needed room . And most needed in the new sport fish marked were room has always been a problem. New e

Just back from other sea trial
It's amazing how boat builder's still can't figure out how to build a proper exhaust system for there clients in this day and age when a very well known solution has been available and well proven since the late 1990s and fro all Engine Companies requirements for back pressure and cylinder head temperatures. And now takes up 80% less real estate aboard. Plus it's better for our overall environment both boat and ocean. I am often asked what I consider the best feature of my de

Our Coast Guard proposal
Well as with all things we did our best to show the benefits of our design and feel we would improve the Sentinel by adding additional needed space aboard and reducing fleet maintenance costs the saving would be considerable. But more importantly giving our Coast Guard a much safer vessel. My personal view about the present exhaust system on the Sentinels Coast Guard Cutters it's antiquated outdated system that takes up to much space and additional tonnage to the vessel. And

The new message
At one time our message was all about our ability to meet engine back pressure and exhaust sound and we still do both very well. But in recent years one of the most important benefits has been our ability to save needed space. Space onboard especially sport fish boats has become one of the biggest challenges in building today . With power increasing and the demand for more speed and range and with only a limited amount of real estate aboard space for more fuel is now the numb
